ReNatura® White Clover 0.5 kg

Perennial forage plant

White clover is particularly well-suited for good, moist soil. This perennial clover species is an excellent provider of feed when sown pure or in mixtures with grasses. Its symbiosis with nodule-forming bacteria transforms atmospheric nitrogen into plant-available forms of the element. In this form, it is available to plants as natural fertiliser. This means that no fertilisation is necessary and that subsequent crops benefit from the influx of nitrogen into the soil. The white flowers are popular food sources for beneficial insects, providing ample nectar and valuable pollen.

Advantages of white clover:

  • Numerous nectar-providing flowers
  • Protein-rich fodder
  • Fixation of atmospheric nitrogen through symbiosis with rhizobia
  • High-yielding fodder plants
  • Ideal supplement for grasses
