VOLGA is a new French cultivar with outstanding agronomic performance. VOLGA was approved in Germany for the first time in 2020. The blue-flowering variety has an upright habit, and offers high yields of green and dry matter. These, along with excellent stability and resistance to lucerne wilt and sclerotinia trifoliorum (clover rot) make VOLGA a promising alfalfa variety. VOLGA’s deep and wide-reaching root network provides powerful drought resistance.
