Tall wheatgrass

This energy grass (also known as Agropyron elongatum, deer grass, Hungarian energy grass, or giant wheatgrass) has been on everyone's lips for several years now. It is a very persistent, frost-resistant, and drought-tolerant species. It can grow to a height of 1.50 m or more, depending on the water supply. It also grows on soils with high salt concentrations and is suitable for marginal sites with a pH range of 6.6 to 10.0.
