Rocket - Eruca vesicaria subsp. sativa
The rocket variety SPACE is a fast-growing catch crop that is reliably winterkilled. Its rapid growth helps it to effectively suppress weeds and its extensive root network improves soil structure and slows erosion. Modern varieties display a low tendency to flower and can tolerate beet cyst nematodes. Because of its glucosinolate content, SPACE can also be used in biofumigation.
