PAULA

Hairy vetch or winter vetch makes an excellent component in overwintering cover crop mixtures. PAULA is a winter-hardy variety and a key component of the Landsberger mixture. It is characterised by rapid stand establishment and high mass formation during its early development. In addition, PAULA is very winter-hardy. Its dark blue-violet flowers attract many pollinators, meaning that biannual bee pastures represent another possible use for PAULA.
