Oilseed flax

Linum usitatissimum

 

Oilseed flax is an annual, herbaceous plant with a wide range of uses. It can be grown as a catch crop, undersown or companion crop, either in pure stands or in mixtures. It is also suitable for grain or fiber production and for use in flowering and greening mixtures. Oilseed flax has low soil requirements.
