AZURO

Soil improvement with deep-rooted lupin

Blue (narrow-leaved) lupin are typical catch crops. Like all legumes, blue lupin binds atmospheric nitrogen and then converts it into a form that plants can use. AZURO thrives on light to medium soils with pH values from 5.0 to 6.5 (less sensitive to lime). With its deep roots, AZURO can also biologically break down compacted layers of soil. Birds avoid AZURO because of its bitter taste.
