- a look back!

A look back at the DLG Field Days 2026

Feldsaaten Freudenberger at the 2026 DLG Field Days: Focus on personal interaction

Three intensive days at the exhibition, numerous technical discussions and valuable exchanges with farmers, advisers and sales partners: the DLG Field Days returned to Bernburg this year, and we were delighted to be there! As exhibitors, we were able to showcase our range of catch crops, forage crops, turf and greening solutions, as well as innovative concepts for sustainable crop production.

The DLG Field Days have once again proved to be a key platform for professional dialogue on the future of arable farming. Here are the figures for the 2026 Field Days: over 45 hectares of exhibition space with a total of 341 exhibitors from 21 countries, offering the approximately 13,200 trade visitors and a total of 18,644 participants a wide range of innovations and practical solutions.

Sustainable crop production systems take centre stage

Discussions at the Freudenberger stand centred on current challenges in crop production: climate adaptation, biodiversity, soil health and resilient cropping systems. There was particularly strong interest in high-performance catch crop mixtures, diverse greening concepts and solutions for improving soil fertility.

This year’s key themes at the DLG Field Days – including resilient cropping systems, oil and protein crops, and strategies for managing weather risks – reflected the current demands facing the agricultural sector and provided numerous points of engagement for discussions with visitors. The programme was complemented by specialist presentations, pop-up talks, machinery demonstrations and sessions on digitalisation, robotics and sustainable crop production.

Valuable discussions and new ideas

For Feldsaaten Freudenberger, the focus was on personal contact and individual advice. Numerous visitors took the opportunity to find out about new varieties, cultivation recommendations and site-specific ecological solutions.

The results of the official exhibitor survey also confirm that face-to-face interaction is highly valued at the DLG Field Days: 94 per cent of exhibitors were satisfied with the calibre of visitors, and 90 per cent rated the professional exchange with their customers positively. Furthermore, 91 per cent were satisfied with the strengthening of existing business relationships.

Thank you very much for visiting us!

We would like to extend our warmest thanks to all customers, partners and prospective clients who visited our stand! The many constructive discussions, new contacts and the keen interest in sustainable seed solutions underline the importance of the DLG Field Days as a meeting place for crop production.

Thanks also to all our colleagues who organised and ran the event, both on stage and behind the scenes!

We look forward to putting the ideas we’ve gathered into practice together with our customers – and to seeing you again at the next DLG Field Days in 2028.
